Rolls Royce Phantom - The Upper Echelon of Luxury Vehicles

When people think of luxury and class, most respond with Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW and vehicle brands similar to that. The Rolls Royce Phantom embraces the embodiment of luxury, class, comfort and elegance to which it reaches to the next level where it sits, at the Upper Echelon.

The Rolls Royce Phantom was initially introduced in 1925 as a early luxury brand. Rolls Royce has been around for almost a whole century, still targeting the luxury car market. During this period of time, the Phantom has evolved to what we know and love today, the Rolls Royce Phantom 2019 Model. While speed isn't the main priority of the Phantom, it still manages to produce impressive numbers with 563 Horsepower and 644 lb - ft of torque using its Twin Turbo 6.7 Liter V12 engine which allows it to reach 5.1 Seconds to 0-100Km/hr. This might not seem as impressive with a Twin turbo V12, but taking into consideration that the car weighs 2608 Kg, it displays respectable performance.

Luxury and Class is where the Phantom Shines. With the massive Price tag of $1,100,100 AUD, the phantom reflects in with it its interior and exterior.
The Phantom comes with a plethora of luxurious components in its interior. With that said, there is no cheap material that can be found in the interior, with no sight  of plastic in sight. The cheapest material that is used in the interior is leather. This can be evidently as even the floor mats are made out of lambswool. The vehicle is more focused in the rear seats because most owners have a chauffeur to drive them around.

The rear seats include a campaign cooler, recliner seats both cooled and heated, adjustable foot rests, 2 retractable TV screens with controllers, custom embroidered leather head rests, custom embroidered pillows, wooden cigar casing for those who like to smoke and the famous starlight head roof ambient lighting system accompanied by the also famous suicide doors.
Some of the features in the front seats and in the cockpit include heated leather seats, heated leather steering wheel, wooden trim, LCD screen to control features such as the dual climate control air conditioning, navigation and reversing cameras, 360 degree birds eye vision of the car and night vision for the ease of reversing or obstacle maneuvering, a chrome analog clock lambswool carpet which all ties together the very concept of luxury.

The Phantom's exterior isn't something that is to be overlooked, guaranteeing  that if you drive past a crowd of people, you can be sure that heads will turn. This is all thanks to the body shape of the car, displaying a very boxy shape only to be distinguished as a Rolls Royce. With this in mind, the bottom of the vehicle is stuffed with sound dampening material to reduce noise, claimed up by 10% when reaching speeds of 100 Km/Hr. The  22 inch wheels are not any normal wheels, but is padded with foam to reduce noise from entering the cabin by 9 decibels. The air suspension that is also included provides a seamless, bump less experience on the back seat as the air suspension is the most comfortable suspension on any vehicle. To enhance the vehicles look, the mascot of Rolls Royce 'The Spirit of Ecstasy' is a retractable badge on the front of the car either available in silver, gold or a illuminated crystal.

It is not recommended that modifications should be done using a third party, but through Rolls Royce alone, as this might breach some terms of service and any warranty. Aesthetic modifications on this car is not recommended as the car itself is a masterpiece, but performance upgrades are available. An example of this is to get a custom exhaust, but it is not advised as it defeats the purpose of the noise cancellation system. The only recommended mod for this car is a body kit by Mansory, for a more aggressive body styling.
